Set Hours of Operation and Time Zone | BT Cloud Work

This article contains instructions on how to set User Hours on the BT Cloud Phone Portal.

Updating your User hours and Time zone

1. Log in to your BT Cloud Phone Portal.

2. Click Settings > User details > Settings & Permissions.

3. Click the Edit button below Regional settings.

4. Click the drop-down box below Time zone, then select your Time zone

5. Check and modify the Home country code and Time format if necessary. Click Save.

6. Click the Edit button below User hours.

7 Set the hours of operation — select from the following options and click Save once done:

• 24 hours/7 days a week - Select if you want incoming calls handled the same way all the time, every day.
Custom hours - Select if you want incoming calls handled differently when your business is open and when it's closed.


NOTE: If you selected Custom hours, you need to set the working hours for the entire week. You have the option to select 24 hours if there are days in the week when the business is open the whole day. Click Copy to Weekdays if necessary.
 

Updating the Administrator's User hours and Time zone

1. Log in to your BT Cloud Phone Portal.

2. My extension to change his User hours and Time zone.

3. Click Settings > User details > Settings & Permissions.

4. Click the Edit button below Regional settings.

5. Click the drop-down box below Time zone, then select your Time zone

6. Check and modify the Home country code and Time format if necessary. Click Save.

7. Click the Edit button below User hours.

8. Set the hours of operation — select from the following options and click Save once done:

• 24 hours/7 days a week - Select if you want incoming calls handled the same way all the time, every day.
Custom hours - Select if you want incoming calls handled differently when your business is open and when it's closed.

Updating the User hours and Time zone of a User

1. Log in to your BT Cloud Phone Portal 

2. On the Admin Portal, go to UsersUser list > Users with extensions. 

3. Click the User that you wish to modify.

4. Click the Edit button below Regional settings.

5. Click the drop-down box below Time zone, then select your Time zone

6. Check and modify the Home country code and Time format if necessary. Click Save.

7. Click the Edit button below User hours.

8. Set the hours of operation — select from the following options and click Save once done:

• 24 hours/7 days a week - Select if you want incoming calls handled the same way all the time, every day.
Custom hours - Select if you want incoming calls handled differently when your business is open and when it's closed.
